I'm Whitney Johnson, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. I see clients statewide through telehealth. I work with adults who struggle with self-doubt, insecurities, anxiety, and/or depression. Using a holistic approach, integrating mind-body techniques and methods such as cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and somatic therapy I help my clients shift from a state of constant worry and self-doubt to one of confidence and resilience.
I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for adults who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions and social pressures. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods and to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.
My approach to goal setting with clients is collaborative. We will work together to help determine what goals will work best for you. This often starts by building trust between us, and getting comfortable with what it means to be in therapy. Over time, we'll work together to set goals and track your progress.
