I am a firm believer in every individual’s innate worthiness and our ability to heal not only through supportive relationships with others, but through our relationships with ourselves. After a 14-year career in the financial industry, I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. In addition, I have had the opportunity to previously volunteer with the National Eating Disorders Association and currently with Crime Victims Treatment Center as a rape and domestic violence advocate
In the therapy room, I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, utilizing some psychodynamic principles and incorporate CBT and DBT skills when needed. As your therapist, I am committed to meeting you where you are and creating a space together where you feel safe to show up and be honest with yourself.
Together we will explore what is and is not working for you and what you want from yourself and from life. Focusing on the whole person to foster self-understanding and resiliency and together chart your path forward. I have experience working with complex and co-morbid disorders as well as eating disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression.
