Welcome! I’m Whitney Hays, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with 13 years of experienced counseling and treating clients with psychological and behavioral disorders. My focus areas include but are not limited to, helping individuals who are experiencing grief and loss, life transitional issues, self-compassion, mental illness, anxiety, and depression. I meet each and every client where they are and work with them to address their individual needs so that they can start living a more fulfilling life.
I use a client-centered approach when working with clients to create a comfortable and safe environment. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I also incorporate other evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Based Therapy.
