I have had good results treating clients of all ages and most mental health problems. I have worked with a lot of children, parents who are trying to get their families reunited after CPS has removed them. Many addictions issues and clients on probation. I have treated many veterans, rape victims, and children and adults who have suffered trauma in their childhood. I have great success using TF-CBT. Most of my clients suffer from Bipolar Disorder (mostly depressive, mostly manic, and several mixed. I have worked with many Psychoses and in Forensics. I love my work and have a wide variety of experience and advanced training.

Intuitive Wellness specializes in the NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) and Somatic Experiencing(SE) for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, chronic stress and illness from a heart centered, somatic and relational lens. These specialized trauma modalities are designed to address issues including shock trauma, developmental, attachment and relational trauma. How we relate to ourselves, our internal experience, our interactions with others and the world around us, is so foundational to healing.

My philosophy of healing is like working your way through a set of nesting dolls from the outer doll representing why you want to heal: trauma, attachment/relationship injury, depression, grief, and anxiety. The next doll holds the symptoms, thoughts, and feelings of the first doll. The next doll may may hold your negative beliefs you have perceived about yourself, others, and the world. The next doll may hold consequences and life impairments. The final doll represents your core and authentic self. The person you would be without all of the other dolls in relationship to the unity of mind, soul, heart, body and spirit.

Emotional or behavioral challenges during childhood and adolescence can be very disruptive to not only the child but the whole family. I provide therapy services during evenings and weekends so that my clients don't have to miss school and to accommodate parents' busy schedules. I have experience helping children and families develop effective coping skills quickly and get the balanced, happy life they deserve.

At Montani Mental Health, LLC, we treat a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and stress management. Being in a college town, we are also skilled at working with the student population on their specific stressors. We use evidence-based treatments and work closely with your medical provider to provide comprehensive care. We provide services for adolescents and adults in Morgantown and surrounding areas. We are also able to do tele-therapy if approved by your insurance.

Emotional and behavioral challenges in childhood and adolescence affects the child and rest of the family unit as well. Caregivers often find themselves heartbroken while they watch their child struggle through issues they wish they could take away, and if the child is acting out behaviorally, it is common for caregivers to even feel hurt and confused. I offer therapy services for children ages 3 and up, as well as adults and families for the diagnosis and treatment of emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns, as well as offer support services and psychoeducation to their caregivers and other family members.

I see adults and children ages 3 and up. I am trained in TF-CBT, PCIT, and EMDR. I also see children with behavioral concerns and I am a dedicated trauma therapist with a passion for helping individuals heal from past experiences and find inner strength. My main modality of treatment is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful therapy approach that facilitates the processing of traumatic memories and promotes emotional healing. With a deep understanding of the impact of trauma on mental health, I work collaboratively with my clients to create a safe and supportive space for their healing journey.
