I have had good results treating clients of all ages and most mental health problems. I have worked with a lot of children, parents who are trying to get their families reunited after CPS has removed them. Many addictions issues and clients on probation. I have treated many veterans, rape victims, and children and adults who have suffered trauma in their childhood. I have great success using TF-CBT. Most of my clients suffer from Bipolar Disorder (mostly depressive, mostly manic, and several mixed. I have worked with many Psychoses and in Forensics. I love my work and have a wide variety of experience and advanced training.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and have enjoyed a career helping others feel empowered to make change and achieve goals for a happier and purposeful life. Dr. Rachel Spurrier is a licensed clinical psychologist administering comprehensive psychological evaluations to clarify client diagnosis as well as to provide recommendations for treatment. Dr. Spurrier has administered testing to clients with concerns related to depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, adjustment disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her goal with clients is to make them feel comfortable and secure with the evaluative process, and to understand the importance of testing as they progress in their therapeutic treatment.

My ideal client is youth 5-18. I have 7 years of experience as a school-based counselor for K-12. Problems that I can help address include depression, loss, trauma, divorce, anxiety, OCD, level one Autism Spectrum Disorder (high functioning), ADHD, behavior issues, foster situations, grandparent/kin raising children, and coming of age issues. I also enjoy supporting adults with depression and anxiety in spiritual guidance from a Christian worldview.
