The quest for mental well-being can an arduous one, but with a trusted therapist to guide the journey and help bear the burden, it can be achieved. My overall goal is for my clients to feel they can be themselves and provide a therapeutic environment that is warm, welcoming, challenging but comforting, and strengths based. I am honored you have chosen to seek help and I look forward to the journey ahead. I have over five years of experience providing therapy, and have worked in many areas of mental health, from a non-profit agency for at-risk youth, to a psychiatric hospital at the acute and residential level.
I am passionate and experienced in working with pre-teens, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and Sandtray therapy.
I provide treatment in a variety of areas, to include attachment issues, grief and loss, parenting, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, at-risk youth, military veterans, active-duty military members, military families, children and adolescents, self-esteem, life transitions, and many more.
