Greetings/Kedu, my name is Dr. Wendy Talley, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in California. I have a Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and my target population is working professionals in high-stress careers who desire to create a life worth celebrating. My preferred approaches are EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Psychoanalytic, which focus on understanding how our past influences the present challenges we face.
The clients I am most successful with are executives, leaders, and individuals who work in high-impact environments. This target market struggles with managing their personal and professional lives, and they need a lot of guidance. I also enjoy working with couples and entrepreneurs.
My approach to therapy is not a one-stop-shop type of service. I believe in a patient-centered approach where the client is inherently driven toward and has the capacity for growth and self-actualization. I want to help facilitate the process of discovery, healing, and maintaining healthy boundaries for the whole person so you can feel in control in life.
