No client is an island but a connected member of a family, so I practice therapy with individuals, couples, and families. My style is practical, focusing on solutions. I am creative and evaluate each client’s unique needs in therapy. I often use hands-on therapy, such as making art or playing, to help with self expression. Parenting does not come with instructions. It is mysterious. The smallest successes can produce a profound sense of accomplishment. Helping you find their way through counseling and walking along side of you through that journey is part of my mission. I provide Ketamine Assisted Therapy for those who qualify.
Personally and professionally, I learned how to navigate the school system to gain support. My school experience enables me to converse with teachers and administrators—and advocate for children. As a counselor in a school with a large caseload, I saw many students in crisis or post-trauma and helped them and their families heal from difficult experiences.
I have walked in the shoes of a single mother, breast cancer survivor, and co-head of a blended family. I am married to a supportive husband and am a mom of 4 college-aged daughters. I know the sounds of the slamming doors and stomping feet. And I know how eye rolls can change the mood around the dinner table and life does not always allow us to push pause.

Nature Therapy Camp
nature therapy camp for children aged 6-9 and a second group for ages 10-14. This 5-day adventure-filled camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to reconnect with nature in a calming and therapeutic setting. The program is designed to provide a blend of creative outdoor activities, play therapy, mindfulness, and hands-on learning experiences that awaken children's senses, while improving their physical and mental health.
