I have spent the past 15 years working as a school counselor providing mental health support to children, youth, and educators. I have experience supporting school-age children and families who are dealing with ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression, learning difficulties and life transitions. I am passionate about creating a collaborative, safe and supportive relationship to help clients cope with challenges, develop strategies and foster personal growth.
My therapeutic approach focuses on a holistic, whole-person approach that is relational and client-centered. I often use an integration of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered and solution focused strategies. I have a warm, empathetic style that is non-judgmental and genuine.
My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment to listen to your experiences, build trust, and work collaboratively towards your goals. I want clients to discover their real self, while helping them learn to manage anxiety, depression, relationships, and life stressors.
