I've worn many hats in this life, and been through unavoidable situations that triggered emotions I wasn't always prepared to handle. I did not fully understand the root of my distress, only that I was experiencing pain. I wasn't taught how to process complex emotions or the accompanying psychic pain. So I walked around with it, until I finally said "I've had enough," and reached out for help. Awareness that "vulnerability is when the the magic happens", has guided my life and the work I do for a decade. My goal is to help you navigate and address complex emotions and the accompanying psychic pain. In our sessions, I use Motivational Interviewing to uncover your motivations, DBT to manage emotions and enhance relationships, Mindfulness and Meditation for stress reduction, Cognitive Processing to reframe thoughts, and EMDR to process trauma.
