I have practiced as a clinical psychologist for over 35 years. I still consider it a privilege to empower clients to solve the complications and problems they are facing. My practice has shown me that every individual is able to positively change his or her ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving, provided that he or she remains motivated and embracing of change. I treat people from diverse backgrounds for a variety of problems, including: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, postpartum difficulties, parenting problems and child custody issues. I also work with patients who are coping with aging and chronic illnesses.
My goal is to help you move in the direction of positivity and personal transformation, and to help you understand what causes lie beneath your particular situation so that problems can be adequately explored and healed. I am committed to help you recognize, appreciate and strengthen your core character strengths.
I often ask clients to do "homework assignments" and to make sure they are applying certain techniques in the midst of their busy lives. I wish to see you move beyond negative states and keep going until you reach your inner goals and potential. I am now extending my practice to include remote telephone and/or videoconferencing sessions.
