Welcome, I am Marie A Goines, LICSW, (she/her)! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Seattle, Washington. I provide individualized, culturally-appropriate trauma-focused services to adults and teens. I help clients to accept themselves while reframing and understanding their experiences, learning coping skills and discovering new ways of interacting with their worlds.

I specialized training in EMDR and I have experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient treatment centers, since 2019. I have experience working with diverse populations in the social services sector since 2018. Every person is unique and has the capacity to change for the better in order to become their ideal selves, in my opinion. To help you comprehend the value of both positive and negative experiences that contribute to the development of strength and resiliency, my main strategies include EMDR, hypnosis, motivational interviewing (MI), CBT, and DBT.
