Getting up in the morning, you wish you had a sense of joy. Work is dreadful. Endless meetings and classes leave you feeling the numb. You feel too dried out to pray or read scripture. Church services have become chores rather than hope. A nagging sense of your old family "stuff" is weighing you down. Feeling good has become a wish rather than an experience. You're not alone. Life doesn't have to be this way.

Tomorrow's leaders are your children today. Being a part of your child's team of advocates is an honor and I take pride in my role. My goal is to create an environment where kids feel accepted and supported, regardless of their gender expression. I know that fostering self-acceptance in this aspect of their identity is fundamental to their overall mental health and well-being.

I work with people who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like their emotions are out of control… they feel like they're on a treadmill, trying so hard but getting nowhere, relationships aren’t what they want them to be, maybe they don’t have enough energy to do things and rest isn’t restful. Or maybe it’s that they're not making progress on meaningful things and instead seem caught up in surviving day-to-day.

I work often with clients on issues such as learning to set and hold boundaries, unpacking codependency, and understanding why they are unhappy in relationships. We all find ourselves repeating behaviors and patterns that once helped but begin to no longer work for us. Often my clients are in a stuck place, a life transition, grieving a loss, or wanting to change relational patterns. Other areas of interest and experience include identifying and addressing current patterns of abuse or healing from past abuse (emotional, sexual, physical, spiritual).

As a therapist I work with tweens, teens and young adults (11-25 yr. old) ,caregivers/adults. Adolescence can be fun and also can be stressful, confusing, and painful. I work with young people experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotional dysregulation/distress, relationship challenges, and who may identify as neurodivergent. I also work with parents/adults. As parents, whether our child is or is not willing to get therapeutic support, doing our own work to care effectively can have invaluable impact in our children's lives. I help parents to better understand their child, support regulation, and model effective skills.

As a Christian counselor, I offer a safe, supportive space for individuals and couples to explore their struggles. I utilize evidence-based modalities to promote emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being. My priority is to listen to your story, making you feel seen, known, safe, and heard. We are not meant to carry burdens alone. While my work is based on a Biblical worldview, I understand everyone is at different places in their walk with God. The extent to which faith is integrated into therapy is entirely up to you. Together, we'll process your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.

Aging can be a beautiful and sometimes difficult process. Our bodies, minds and social interactions change. Maybe you're feeling down or fearful of what the future holds, especially if you add in chronic illness, cognitive changes or a dementia related diagnosis. You may be seeking self-clarity, acceptance and someone to hear you.

Reconnecting to ourselves, others, and our community is imperative to growth, healing, and movement through life. Taking the time to find and explore creativity, our expression process, and the arts when we are living with mental illness, changes, and just living in general is a transformative process. This process alleviates debilitating symptoms so that we can discover what truly and uniquely works for us in therapy. I have experience working with people of all ages, the majority being youth ages 10-22 experiencing acute mental health crises, and I am open to working with folks of all ages and with any mental health support needs.

I work with individuals and couples seeking to connect: to themselves, to their bodies, to others, or to a sense of meaning. Many clients initially feel stuck in their lives, or misunderstood by the world, or (sort of) ready to face the trauma that seems to define them. I love working with a variety of adults, but I specialize in treating highly analytical/logical people, highly sensitive people, neurodiverse clients, religious trauma, and body acceptance issues.
