I work with current problems, trauma, addictions, life issues, relationship issues, body issues, and issues that are more unique including past life work and spirit attachment work.
There are a variety of therapeutic techniques I use to bring relief to current life issues, help resolve early life patterns and help clients create a new way of being in life and feeling they are now in control of themselves and their choices. There is a release in these techniques that normal "talk" therapy is not able to provide. This journey is about self discovery and self mastery. Those that wish to address a specific issue or symptom in their life can do so and those who want to embark on the larger path of personal transformation are also served by this work.

Changes can be hard and they happen invited or not. I strive to walk along side you while navigating those changes/circumstances in life. Life experience can be a great teacher but we don't have to learn those lessons alone.

Are you suffering with anxiety and depression every day? Do you experience current triggers associated with past childhood or recent trauma? Most importantly, are these symptoms interfering with your daily life - are they making it difficult to impossible for you to experience joy and happiness? If you're reading this, then you are driven to recovery, which is the first and most important step to healing these symptoms. Childhood trauma (neglect, verbal, mental, emotional, physical, sexual abuse) can have a lasting effect on our lives, and we get stuck with negative beliefs and negative internalized stories about ourselves.

Accepting new clients! Growing through curiosity is at the forefront of my practice. I believe that all clients come to therapy with a goal in mind – to reduce discomfort in their lives, manifest change, implement better boundaries, build self-esteem, or become a better version of themselves. Whatever the goal is – I am here to help. Growing through curiosity invites clients to think outside the box and develop strategies for solving their own issues.

At this time I am not accepting clients. Usually I work with young adults who are managing difficult transitions in their life and struggling with anxiety or depression. I particularly enjoy working with neurodiverse and twice-exceptional clients, working to overcome challenges and the difficult memories associated with trauma. I also work with parents as they seek personal emotional support and hone strategies to help their families. As a therapist, I will work alongside you and will be your ally and advocate, supporting you as you evaluate your strengths and move into a more authentic and happy life.

I typically work with anxious, hyper-vigilant, perfectionistic clients who get stuck in their thinking brains and have a hard time accessing their feelings. Clients who have difficulty slowing down and being with themselves. Clients who have tried and tried to fix their problems and still feel stuck, exhausted, and frustrated that things don't change. I love helping clients trust that they aren't a problem to be fixed, they are a person who needs acceptance, compassion, and love. Though I specialize in LGBTQ+ clients and folks that have experienced religious trauma, I welcome anyone who experiences a disconnect with themselves.

I am passionate about helping clients heal and transform through an eco-art therapeutic approach that combines art, nature and play. Working and playing in a natural setting, I offer a variety of mediums to encourage growth, both indoors and out. This allows an emergent and imaginative approach to therapy that adapts to fit the unique needs of each individual, couple, family and group. Moving from sand tray to clay, collage to art journaling, clients can walk outdoors on paths that meander past waterways and through old growth forests. With labyrinths, meditative walks and an enormous sound chamber, I offer many creative outlets.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
