I utilize Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Family Systems Theory, and Lifespan Integration Therapy.
Periodically we discover that something in our lives needs to shift in order to continue to be the best version of ourselves. This can be a difficult realization to come to and my objective is to support you as you remake what is no longer useful in order to continue on your path to wellness. My experience primarily lies in working with women and girls to address a variety of mental health needs including depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, self-esteem issues, developmental concerns, parenting concerns, infertility and postpartum difficulty. Working with the unique needs of women is a passion of mine.

I draw from Family Systems and Social Constructivism theories (the belief that there are a multitude of truths, and a singular truth is incomplete).
You might be feeling loneliness, loss, hurt, sadness, and frustration. You may also have experiences of family disruption, trauma, societal stigma, and not quite fitting in with your peers. In therapy, we will uncover the blocks that keep you feeling stuck in unresolved grief, disconnected relationships, depression, and anxiety, so that you can live a more enriching life. I come from the understanding that you innately carry the resources to thrive. Together, we can embark on a continued journey, learning about the complexity of who you are and ways you can heal to connect with your core self.

My approach is deeply rooted in connection while we work together to navigate all of life's moments. I like to use techniques and interventions from Family Systems and Solution Focused Therapy. Life can be challenging and change is inevitable, and with transitions there are many aspects to growth and loss. I work with individuals, couples, and family systems; often dealing with unprocessed grief, trauma, parenting, identity issues, and midlife decisions. It takes courage to communicate the strong emotions felt within these difficult topics, especially to those you love the most. I prioritize holding a non-judgmental space for these strong emotions to be seen, heard, and liberated.

Using a variety of modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I hope to create a holistic approach that addresses the context and complexity of life, and the relationships around us.
By understanding yourself in a deeper way, I strive for clients to have better intimacy, communication, and satisfaction from their relationships and internal world. I believe change happens when we leverage your curiosity to co-create an environment where awareness, honesty, and freedom can occur. I am especially passionate partnering with client’s who have a drive for their own transformation through curiously engaging their story, journey, and style of relating.

My ideal client is interested in diving into deeper work to further gain insight and awareness to underlying issues creating dysregulation and overwhelm. I'm passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals to better understand their needs and strengths when navigating a neurotypical world. I enjoy supporting individuals with single-incident or chronic stress and trauma. Mostly, I enjoy supporting people on their healing journey and feel it is an honor to walk the path alongside them.

Humanistic psychology and family systems are the foundation of much of the psychotherapy that I offer.
I offer an integrative approach to individuals and couples seeking solutions and insight into their life challenges. Client-centered psychotherapy is the basis of my work for concerns such as anxiety and depression, post-traumatic stress, family stressors, relationship issues, difficulties with self-esteem, grief and loss, or life transition. I work with couples, individual adults, and young adults (18+) and provide both short-term and long-term psychotherapy approaches. I have experience with clients who are either in recovery from an addiction themselves or have a family member struggling with these concerns.

Family Systems Therapists
Family Systems therapists view problems within the family as the result not of particular members' behaviors, but of the family's group dynamic. The family is seen as a complex system having its own language, roles, rules, beliefs, needs and patterns. The therapist helps each individual member understand how their childhood family operated, their role in that system, and how that experience has shaped their role in the current family.
