I utilize many different tools in my work, including CBT and DBT, and other trauma-informed modalities.
Hello, my name is Nathalie. If you are ready for change in your life, or you are beginning to wonder what you need to move forward, you are not alone. Often, when we are experiencing anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma, it is easy to feel like our voice is lost within our struggle. If you are looking for a therapist who values your voice, and all of the things that make you YOU, I am excited to meet you and join you on your journey.

I also integrate models like CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and DBT ( dialectical behavior therapy).
Therapy is about asking yourself the question: What hurts and why? Together, we will spend time with this question - gently, slowly, carefully. Therapy is not only for those with "capital T" trauma or a mental health diagnosis, but for anyone who would like to get to know themselves, perhaps for the first time. To listen to what emerges when you pay kind, careful attention to yourself. You may be seeking more fulfilling relationships, relief from challenging feelings/behaviors, or deeper self-understanding.

My approach to therapy is informed by evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy ( DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I believe in putting every client at ease so that we can build upon your strengths, uncover areas of challenge and patterns that are no longer serving you, while working toward your goals. I specialize in anxiety, stress management, life transitions, identity exploration, pregnancy, parenting, depression, grief, loss, trauma, infertility and third party reproduction, and chronic illness. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and couples experiencing infertility because of my own experience with it, which led me to pursue additional postgraduate training and supervision.

I formally trained in DBT, which teaches useful life skills, and CPT for PTSD treatment.
You're LGBTQIA+, large-bodied, or managing chronic illness and enduring depression, anxiety, or PTSD. You're a therapist dealing with burnout or mental/physical illness. Intersecting identities, oppression, and health issues are complex. You can't waste precious energy on an ignorant therapist or risk prejudice. Therapists are likely feeling stretched or burned out under converging life and work stressors. Others assume we have it handled and we feel we should too. This resonates? As your new therapist, I GOT you! These specialties align with my identity OR life experiences; I am a cis female. Let's hit the ground running!

My therapeutic interventions are based in narrative, humanistic, existential, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy ( DBT) modalities.
I specialize in grief and loss; LGBTQ+ issues; depression and anxiety; and trauma processing. I approach therapy from a place of curiosity, humor, and collaboration. It can be difficult to go through challenges alone and sometimes we need an outside perspective to challenge the unhelpful and negative narratives we have constructed for ourselves during those challenging times. I am here to help uncover and create a narrative that reflects your strengths and intrinsic identity.

I practice dialectical behavioral therapy and existential therapy designed to allow my clients to tell me who they are honestly without fear of judgment.
Your subconscious wiring is creating your current life. Let us gently rewire and recode. You may feel trapped in your own mind or feeling stuck. The therapeutic relationship between a client and a therapist allows for authentic, honest communication that can feel like a breath of fresh air after going through life telling people we are “fine” when we aren't. We all have a complex and emotional story to tell. I want to help you align with your true desires and values so that you can create the life you want. You get to have abundance, ease, grace, and peace.

I practice mainly from the Person Centered approach to counseling, but I also implement elements of CBT, DBT, and attachment theories when it comes to tool-building.
I have a deep passion for working with adolescent and adult men on issues like anxiety & depression, self-esteem, self-confidence, relationships, boundaries, and meeting one's needs. How I operate as a therapist is by making the therapeutic relationship priority number one. By developing and fostering a meaningful alliance between client and therapist, we can then confidently be collaborative, creative, and insightful about helping you meet your needs in your life.
