My approach is rooted in trauma-informed and liberation-focused practices and is influenced by my training in relational psychology. I believe relationship plays a foundational role in our formation - the relationships we have with other people as well as the systems and environments we find ourselves in can have a profound impact on us. We often experience wounding through relationship but can also experience immense growth and healing through relationship, both with ourself and with others.

We all know that life is full of messiness, but what if we didn’t have to hold it together. What if we didn’t show a version of ourselves or wear a facade. And what if we could be really honest about our experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Sometimes it’s hard to find places to allow our chaos, confusion and pain to come out of hiding and be seen. My hope is that you find comfort and safety to allow the mess to show up. I believe therapy offers us the invitation to do something different — to choose a new way. It can be an uncomfortable and powerful offer to be seen, known and heard for who you really are.

Draw upon your courage to greet the tasks of work, friendship, and intimacy. Overcome the slings and arrows of life's inevitable misfortune and suffering that is set in the snares of Fear, Anger, and Despair. Encouragement fosters hopeful striving and nourishes meaningful life. Courage grows through relationship. I bring the wisdom of encouragement through authenticity, understanding, and compassion born from my lifetime of study, personal experience, and professional practice.

I never take lightly just how brave it is for a new client to reach out and ask for support. Therefore, it’s up to me as your therapist to do my very best to create a safe environment where you feel seen and heard; where you feel the confidence and freedom to explore your tender & hurt places and your strengths and gifts, too!

I believe the therapy space is a sacred space - a time focused completely on you, where you are supported, listened to, and seen. Navigating life is complex, but it doesn't have to feel hard. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, a feeling of low self-worth, or desiring to heal from past trauma, my approach is the same. You will be met with deep care and compassion, as well as a desire to understand what is bringing you to therapy right now. I will also challenge you in sessions to help you see unhelpful patterns and core-based beliefs that are inhibiting your growth, happiness, and well-being.

Our relationship with ourselves is life-long and at times, takes the back seat in our lives. Perhaps you have felt overwhelmed as life moves forward while you have found less joy in things you used to love. You feel stuck as if you’re losing parts of yourself, or maybe you aren’t sure who you are just yet. You need a safe space to process your relationship with yourself, create a pathway to radical self-acceptance, and the grace to process transformative healing. Together, we will build a partnership to explore with curiosity how you struggle and feel pain, and how you have learned to cope and adapt.

Are you working on unpacking your trauma and improving your communication and relationship skills? Want some support in going deeper and shifting some patterns? Do you care, not just about your own healing, but building a better world for everyone and a sustainable future for the planet? I'm glad you're here! Sometimes our thoughts can keep us stuck, repeating the same loops. Embodied trauma healing can help. I help clients reconnect to the life of the body and the innate wisdom and healing potential that can be found there. With just a little focused support, healing doesn’t always have to be a struggle.

I have a conversational approach and welcome humor alongside the deep emotional work of therapy. I come alongside adults and relationships to support you in your healing and connection mainly through the lens of Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic therapy, and Internal Family Systems, but most importantly, I pull from many wise teachers to find what works for you.

The decision to seek therapy is often born with a profound desire to untangle one’s complex inner world — the emotions, relationships, and behavior that shape our lives. Life is filled with a range of experiences that influence the way we see the world and make meaning of the past. Rooted at the core of every experience is human relationship; relationships reflect pieces of ourselves and shape the complex beings we become. Fragments of our relationships become part of us, influencing and guiding our choices.

Hello, I am a queer-identified therapist specialized in LGBTQIA+ mental health. My approach to therapy involves developing a safe and collaborative relationship in which a client can explore various aspects of their life while feeling supported as well as challenged to grow. My theoretical approach is rooted in existentialism, where I work with clients to find and create meaning. I often draw from other therapeutic modalities based on the needs of each individual client.

There are times when we know we need more support. We realize we have been carrying things that have become too heavy to carry alone. We have a clear desire to grow into our full potential but we feel stuck and discouraged. We struggle to communicate with our partner and feel the pain of disconnection. We buckle under the incessant demands of being a good parent. We know it could be better, but we don't know how to get there. I get it. I've been there too. It can get better! I am here to offer you attuned care so that you don't have to go it alone.

I work with guys in hi-tech, mostly software engineers and managers, who struggle with some sort of anxiety &/or depression, often brought on by things like workplace stress, relationship problems, or big life transitions (like having a baby). My typical client leads an engaged life of achievement and focus, and he usually feels on top of things. But then life has come along and hit him with something his well-developed intellect can't quite handle. The result is that he feels stalled and filled with self-doubt - something he is unaccustomed to and often deeply uncomfortable with.
