Life is an ongoing journey of growth and opportunity. Throughout these opportunities, we are met with challenges. Often these challenges are the catalyst for the growth opportunities we were not necessarily seeking. I believe it is in these moments that we get to dig deep, transform, and come out on the other side victorious, even if we had to get there kicking and screaming. We are resilient people, and sometimes we need to be reminded of that. My role as a therapist is to support my clients and challenge them to keep putting forth the effort and to claim the victory that is waiting for them on the other side of their challenges.

Through my training and experience I developed an expertise in helping people of various back grounds move through life transitions. I believe our present is highly influenced by our past experiences, therefore understanding our life experiences and taking the responsibility to change our present is the ultimate goal in therapy.

Often times our symptoms can feel overwhelming. They can be difficult to understand and describe. We know they are impacting our lives, and we’re looking for help to sort it all out. I believe that in therapy, we use the relationship between client and therapist to address the challenges you bring to our sessions. Together, we work for you to gain a better awareness of yourself and greater insight into the nature of your challenges. We collaboratively process those challenges in session, through story and relationship, to provide you with the tools to prosper outside of session.

Have you ever been told or wondered if you're "too sensitive" or "too emotional?" As if this is a shameful thing? I'll take a wild guess and say that hearing this probably doesn't help in feeling "less" emotional. This can be such a bind – maybe intense emotions/behaviors make things harder. However, a sense of acceptance, whether it comes from within or from loved ones, can profoundly support in feeling understood, safe, and resilient. And these more subtle feelings can absolutely assist in the pursuit of making necessary changes in emotional expression & related behaviors, impact on relationships, and presence day-to-day.

The journey towards healing & self-awareness can feel daunting but you don’t need to be on this quest (yes I'm British & a HUGE nerd, as well as use gaming as part of therapy too!) of self-identity, depression, anxiety, awkwardness, or confusion alone. I am here to support your every step, no matter where your personal adventure takes you. Whether you are looking to confront your fears or shame, to explore the depths of your past and reap the insights gained, or are a seeker of awareness, or neurodivergent, you are welcome here. For the burnt-out, the weary, the ones who don't feel heard or understood, you’re in the right place.

Wanting to make a change and move forward, but feeling stuck? It is often difficult to get a good grasp of your experience when you have a lot on your mind. Sometimes it gets in your way of a wish to change. It can be challenging to be kind and gentle to yourself as well as to your feelings at a time. These experiences often make one feels stuck. I believe, increasing awareness and understanding of experience(s) will help you to gain alternative perspectives that would help you to no longer feel stuck and/or afraid.

There are pivotal moments in life that require great courage and hope to move through. At these pinch points, we often need to remind ourselves how to put one foot in front of the other. I believe each human has a core essence of capability, curiosity and strength. When you stumble or struggle you may disconnect from that core essence. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker my role is to encourage, support and help you reflect on what allows you to find your core and feel emotionally healthy - proud of who you are and the choices you make.

Welcome! My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational. I work to support clients in developing an increasingly complex and embodied understanding of themselves in the context of the relationships and systems that they interact with. Through our work together, clients can expect to uncover habitual patterns of behavior that interfere with living the life they want, and over time to experience an increased sense of choice and flexibility in their actions. I aim to support individuals in developing a greater sense of comfort with themselves, and an increased ability to cope with the inevitable challenges that life offers.

Accepting Molina Medicaid 8/26. Our best contact method is via our website inquiry form. Do frequent arguments, conflict, or a lack of connection have you questioning your relationships? Are you or your teen struggling with inattentiveness in your work or at school, missing classes, or getting poor grades? Or maybe you just don't feel like yourself anymore and are questioning where you fit in. Let’s face it, life can be challenging and confusing. We go about our days, sometimes just struggling to get through it, and don’t have someone to talk to because we don’t want to feel like a burden. It’s time to embark on this journey.

At the PBC, we help people who struggle with problems that they feel are impossible to change, understand, or even think about. Our clients come to us because they are depressed, anxious, in bad relationships, and can't see a path forward. We work well with people who are sensitive and creative, and need someone to help them understand what they've been through and how it impacts them in the here-and-now. Doing this kind of work with someone you trust offers the best hope for lasting change. We don't work well with people who want to be "fixed" without coming to know themselves better in the process.

The clients I work with often feel different in some way, either because of neurodivergence, trauma, giftedness, or intense anxiety. Simply put, they process the world differently. The parents I see are doing their best to support their children's self-regulation even as they manage their own confusion and fatigue. They are looking for a guide rather than endless parenting blogs. My young adult clients are looking for ways to manage self-criticism, anxiety, and perfectionism. Frequently, they are processing trauma, striving to develop a balanced sense of self, and learning how to navigate relationships.
