Are you looking for a safe and supportive place to talk? A place to talk to someone about relational issues or sexual issues? If so, I can help you learn to slow down and listen to your deepest truths, listen to your body, mind and spirit. This kind of support can increase your clarity and self knowledge, and improve your communication skills, so you stop neglecting your inner voice and needs. Stop struggling to ask for what you want and need in your relationships, and start to feel heard. If you haven't been able to make the changes you know you need too, this is the time to understand your blocks and move in a new direction.

I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME. I love working with clients to find sustainable and creative approaches to life's challenges. The work is highly individualized, and is a process of discovery, finding a voice for deep emotions and authentic connection to self and others. Finding the courage, compassion, and confidence that equips one to live a wholesome and beautiful life is my goal as a therapist.

We may long to feel better, but end up feeling stuck or scared. I believe that change is possible in the safe and confidential setting of therapy, where we can look more honestly at ourselves and our circumstances. The support and understanding of another person helps us face our difficulties.

My practice is about creating space... a relational space to be, to reflect, to see, to heal, and imagine anew. Life can often feel overwhelming or bring feelings of hopelessness, but our inner resources are often more than we are able to imagine in the moment of our distress. New strength and connection can be found in parts of yourself that have been cut off or neglected for various reasons. Often we need the presence of someone, like a therapist, who has the potential to reflect back who we are being and what we might be neglecting, in order to see ourselves more clearly and engage life and relationships more fully.

My practice centers the experiences of people who are BIPOC. Many of the people I work with identity as AAPI, and/or have intersecting identities of being both BIPOC and Queer. People I work with want to have more fulfilling and meaningful relationships with themselves, their partner, friends, and/or family. They desire to know and share their needs and boundaries. They recognize the impact their upbringing may have on them, and are ready to heal from it, and to unlearn patterns that stem from that. They want to be more vulnerable and in touch with their emotions, to live authentically true to who they are. They value growth.

I believe that therapy is about mining for an enlivened authenticity while reorienting one’s relationship to suffering. In successful therapy, the therapist is providing for the client a relationship unlike any the client has had before, where difficult - and often vulnerable - conversations are fostered within a safe container. From this is born new and more adaptive coping strategies, ways to move through conflict and pain, and recurring invitations to return to the present moment - with compassion.

You are no stranger to self-doubt. As the adult child of a narcissistic & emotionally invalidating parent, you’ve been taught to deny your emotions, deprioritize your needs, and question everything about yourself. You know how to stay hidden in plain sight without exposing your authentic self, but the downside is that it’s exhausting. Now, you’re at a point where you’re realizing you need help to get back to who you are without the guilt, shame, and toxic beliefs holding you back. You're ready to heal and experience the kind of self-acceptance that the younger you always needed.
