I am currently scheduling limited daytime clients. I work with young adults who are managing difficult transitions in their life and may be struggling with stress and anxiety as they try to lay their foundations. I often see neurodiverse clients who face burnout and overwhelm and who may also be working through childhood trauma. I also work with parents of neurodiverse and capable kids seeking personal emotional support and strategies to help their families. As your therapist I will work alongside you and will be your ally and advocate, supporting you as you evaluate your strengths and move into a more authentic and happy life.

Are you wishing for better relationships? Feeling anxious, down, lost, or wondering about the meaning of life? Would you like to feel more confident? Hoping to heal after trauma? Going through loss or life transition? We need lots of self-compassion so we can heal and find a better approach to our lives and relationships. I offer a non-judgmental space to be open about your struggles and explore what it means to live in your values. It is through our common humanity that I relate to my clients. I believe the struggles we face also occur in the systems of race, class, gender, sexuality, age, ability, religion, and national identity.

In an out of control world, we all retain the human freedom of turning our attention inwards to find meaning and clarity. We all have times when life feels out of balance and the path forward seems uncertain. Our suffering does not have to be meaningless, it can be our most profound tool for personal transformation.

The Millennial urge to doomscroll, binge true crime docs, and dissociate is real... but deep down, there's a part of you screaming for change. You’ve been carrying the weight of trauma for too long —whether it’s from childhood, a divorce, sudden loss, or another painful experience that left a mark—and it’s affecting your relationships, work, and overall vibe. You want to feel more joy and connect genuinely with yourself and others, getting out of your head and into the present moment. The longer you carry this, the heavier it gets. You deserve to feel lighter, to heal, and to finally move forward—now, not later. I want that for you!

Ah, this life! In the lyrics of an old song, ‘Nobody said it was easy, no-one ever said it would be so hard’. I’ve spent most of my life dedicated to human connection- to self and other— bringing deep curiosity to how we can belong deeply to ourselves, and still be loved and belong deeply to one another. It’s not easy. Yet, it truly is possible. And, we need courage and guides along the way. That is where I can help. Our time together is a place where you can unfold yourself. Where you can learn to trust again. I am skilled at working in the deeper realms of grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, and above all intimacy and sexuality.

I work primarily with individuals who feel bound in aversion toward themselves. Whether concerns manifest as self-hatred, shame, relational difficulties, terminal regret, questions around spirituality, depression, anxiety, or in any number of other ways, I wholeheartedly trust there is more to the story than meets the eye. I support our exploration by opening a receptive and creative space for truths that might not feel at home elsewhere. As we shift painful thought patterns out of isolation and into dialogue between two minds, new and surprising truths emerge. These can form the basis for new peace and possibilities.

I specialize in assisting emerging adults through transition, trauma, and crises of faith and spirituality.
I believe that therapy is meant to empower clients to feel that they are capable of change and living a fuller, more integrated life. I work with individuals and couples dealing with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and family conflict. I utilize a systemic and bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach in therapy. This simply means integrating the many parts of a person into therapy. I also aim to explore the impact of significant relationships and the influence of larger social systems on client's sense of wholeness and ability to achieve desired growth.

I am skilled in working with relationship + family issues, trauma, shame, life transitions, + spirituality.
The truth is, our world is unpredictable. Our lives are jolted by circumstances that are wonderful, exciting, + lovely–circumstances that are terrible, tragic, + awful. These two opposites do not cancel each other out. Life is both incredible + hard. Therapy is a courageous choice to explore the impact these circumstances have on our lives. The goal of therapy is to help you flourish–to work from the core of who you are to equip you with the necessary skills to live the life you desire. It would be an honor to come alongside you in this aim.

Spirituality Therapists

What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?

Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?

There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviors. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?

Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?

Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
