My name is Mehjabeen (Mehj) Aubol. I am a trained Trauma Therapist with significant experience addressing trauma and PTSD in adults, teens, and children. I am licensed in Pennsylvania and Washington state with 9 years of experience as a therapist. I grew up immersed in more than one culture. I consider myself to have a strong cross-cultural understanding, and can relate to individuals who come from multiple cultures and backgrounds. I always to get to know the individual first, understand their goals for therapy, and work with them as a team to help them get to where they desire to be in their life.

I focus on helping my clients understand and heal attachment issues, processing of trauma, resolving parenting difficulties, and work/life conflicts. My goal is to give my clients a place to feel safe to discuss the stresses and troubles they may be experiencing. Although I counsel people of all ages, I particularly enjoy seeing children under the age of 18. I also like to provide support for parents and help the family achieve regulation by improving understanding and communication between family members.

Everyone struggles at some point in their life. Sometimes we are able to handle life's difficulties on our own and sometimes we could use the help of a professional to conquer our dilemmas. I am honored to help people through those rough patches, and at all times guide them in a nonjudgmental, confidential, caring way. I do not take a 'one size fits all' approach to counseling. I will work with my clients to establish goals and how we will work towards that growth.

I am currently taking new Video clients from anywhere in Washington! I believe that good therapy is a journey that I accompany my clients on. I feel that each person is unique and the course of therapy is tailored to their needs and comfort level. My ideal client wants something different, better or more in their life and they are ready to work for it. I use both traditional therapeutic styles and hypnotherapy to help my clients find the change they are looking for. I am honored to work with my clients on depression, anxiety, stress, medical noncompliance, health issues, abuse, anger, trauma and other life issues.
