I work with individuals aged 16 and older of all genders seeking support for a broad range of mental health and life issues. I am a strong advocate and ally, and work to help my clients on their path toward healing, acceptance, balance and growth. I enjoy working with couples, families and individuals. As a therapist, I look to identify your strengths and utilize those to find solutions to the specific problems you are experiencing. Some of the ways we will accomplish this are by looking at the various ways that thoughts and emotions may be driving your behaviors. I also like to explore the context of your life and situations that may be contributing to the problem in ways you may not have recognized. We'll use the insights, information, and strengths to help you transition more into your solutions.

I work with children ages 5-15, couples, families and individuals from a family systems perspective to address any myriad of concerns. I work collaboratively with my clients, to facilitate a client-led course of treatment based on their own strengths. She enjoys working with the family system and is personable and easy to talk to. This is done by improving communication, learning & understanding an individual’s past, beliefs or culture can affect one’s behavior, views & emotions, building up self worth, being validated when family members address issues from the past or present.

I am currently taking new Video clients from anywhere in Washington! I believe that good therapy is a journey that I accompany my clients on. I feel that each person is unique and the course of therapy is tailored to their needs and comfort level. My ideal client wants something different, better or more in their life and they are ready to work for it. I use both traditional therapeutic styles and hypnotherapy to help my clients find the change they are looking for. I am honored to work with my clients on depression, anxiety, stress, medical noncompliance, health issues, abuse, anger, trauma and other life issues.

I like people and enjoy getting to know and understand them. There are many ways we can get stuck or get weighed down in life issues. It is exciting for me to assist others in finding ways to get on with living. I believe this occurs when a client feels comfortable in the relationship with their therapist. As a therapist, my first task is to provide a safe environment for a person to experience themselves in new ways.
