I work with individuals ages 18+ to provide support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQ+ identities. I work from an anti-oppression and social justice oriented framework, and my work with clients often focuses on themes of personal agency and empowerment, shame resolution, and self-acceptance. I enjoy supporting clients with issues related to burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, and trauma to live more authentically in alignment with their values and to build stronger and more connective relationships with themselves and others.

My passion is helping and empowering others to build self-confidence and create their own path and journey in life. Herd path term means when hikers create new paths and maintain those trails. My ideal client will want a therapeutic experience where they find the courage to be imperfect. They should want a genderqueer psychotherapist who is fat, neurospicy, queer, and believes in finding joy without toxic positivity. I provide letters to support gender-affirming healthcare and believe in gender joy. My ideal client should know that we don't need to relive their trauma to process their trauma. I am a therapist who strives to understand individuals within their social constructs and will meet my clients wherever they are on their journey.

I believe humans are capable of incredible resiliencies and have the full capacity to achieve positive change in their lives. My overall approach is collaborative and client-centered, with a commitment to anti-oppression in every facet of my work. I believe, with warm, respectful, authentic support, every person has the ability to identify inner resources and acquire skills that will empower them to find healing and fulfilling relationships to self and others. My style is compassionate and appropriately direct. While I find exploration of the past useful, I prefer to use the 'here-and-now' to realize and effect change.

I am a Family, and Individual mental health counselor, versed in multiple modalities of therapeutic interventions, providing family and individual therapy, career counseling, counseling assessment, and multicultural psychology. I am very proficient in working with adolescents (13+), LGBTQ+ youth, Military families, and BIPOC populations.

In addition to traditional “talk therapy”, I have special training in Art Therapy, which requires no previous art making experience. The use of art materials in therapy invites us to access a deeper level of understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Art making is a language of its own; a tool we can use to communicate what is beyond words, and to help us to develop meaning in our lives. Art making helps us tap into what is authentic about ourselves.
