I have 30 years of experience helping clients to identify and heal the sources of discomfort that bring them to counseling. Whether their concerning issues are situational, biochemical, or a long standing pattern of behavior, my approach is to always start with where the client is and what they are wanting out of counseling. I have extensive experience working with late teens and adults, both men and women. My practice includes individuals and couples work which also includes the LGBTQ community.

I started Flourish Beyond Therapy for girls and women who are tired of dealing with low self-esteem and codependency. My clients are competent, strong, and full of potential, but they don’t believe this about themselves when they first start meeting with me. They usually believe themselves to be incompetent, inadequate, and unwanted. You have an endless amount of potential hiding inside of you, let’s uncover it together.

When something about you or your life is exceptional, your therapy needs to be different, too. People who are intellectually inclined, highly sensitive, intense, or gifted may find themselves out-of-synch with those around them. They may be unusually insightful, consistently two steps ahead of others, and find that their thoughts and feelings move quickly and intensely. I am a nonbinary telehealth-only Somatic Experiencing Method therapist that has been working with clients since 2011. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (Somatic Psychology Concentration), a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, and a background in nature connection mentoring, caring for children, movement, and social justice. I particularly work with anxiety, trauma, boundaries, communication, stress, self-regulation skill-building, and self-organization. I am LGBTQ+ and BIPOC-celebrating, sex-positive, and work with those with alternative relationship styles.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families my goal is to help my clients have a safe environment to explore difficult emotions, negative beliefs and struggles they are having in life and offer them guidance in recognizing their own solutions.
