EMDR, Lifespan Integration, and DBT all help to heal and restore lives to a place they were meant to be.
Life is unpredictable. As hard as we try to manage our daily lives and our relationships with friends, family, and colleagues, circumstances beyond our control can make us feel lost and isolated, sometimes hopeless. That's why we all occasionally need guidance: to see that there is always hope on the other side of adversity. My name is Ann Horton, and I specialize in therapies that can help you resolve the personal issues that detract from the joy of your day-to-day life, whether they're born of recent misfortune or deeply rooted trauma.

Since I work with a broad range of clients, I take tools from CBT, DBT, narrative, existential, humanistic, Jungian, strengths based, Gestalt and motivational interviewing techniques.
Hello and thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Sean Trudeau, I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. In therapy sessions my aim is to create a working environment geared toward each individual's greatest benefit. Longitudinal research suggests, therapy is most effective when there is a strong connection between client and counselor. Therefore I uphold a safe environment for compassionate and respectful communication. In addition I utilize evidence based strategies to help clients build the specific skills and resilience necessary to overcome their personal challenges.

As a theoretical orientation, Amy utilizes an integrative, person-centered, & psychodynamic approach to create a framework of attachment theory, family systems, expressive-arts, creative parenting, mindfulness (meditation, visualization, breathwork, & intuition), parts work, psychoeducation, & emotion regulation tools from DBT (self-soothing & co-soothing).
With compassion, an open heart, & inclusivity, Amy helps people expand their potential by creating a personal roadmap to their emotional health & wellbeing. Listening, acknowledgement, & building trust are key ingredients to her approach. Amy tunes into the client in each moment of every session to understand what they are experiencing to help them get their needs met. Attachment wounding can be a part of many people's childhoods and those experiences often present now. Many times, reparenting occurs through the therapy process and results in a corrective experience, bringing peacefulness & healing...to feel whole again.

I have additional training in DBT, Internal Family Systems, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
Hello, I am the owner and Supervisor at Creative Expressions Therapy and I have current availability (Updated August 2024). I believe the therapeutic relationship is invaluable. It is undeniable that the systems we exist in perpetuate dispiriting degrees of privilege and oppression for different bodies, which significantly impact how we relate to our selves and our community. I aim to support you in navigating these systems, to gain insight into the impact it has had on your life, and identify ways to build up and protect your sense of self. I value compassion, equity, creativity, humor, and honesty in my work with clients.

I am trained in ACT, DBT, and family-based therapy.
Seeking therapy and being open is a courageous step that requires vulnerability and commitment. I have supported many adolescents in expressinging their struggles and how they can use their resources to achieve goals. With the client's help, I gain a better understanding of their needs and provide tools and recommendations that may not be intuitive, but profoundly helpful. My goal is to work through barriers that create pain and suffering and to find new ways of coping that increase happiness, improve relationships with self and others and overall functioning of life.

I have completed extensive training in CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT and EFT Tapping.
I believe therapy should be a safe and non-judgmental space with a healthy mix of feeling your feelings, accountability, education and humor. My approach is to serve as a partner and guide on your journey to explore and sort the helpful vs. unhelpful in your life. Sometimes this journey will be tearful and uncomfortable, and sometimes we will laugh together at my many metaphors. I am most passionate about working with individuals who feel like they are “not good enough,” worry about living up to others’ expectations or struggle sometimes to get out of bed because their sadness is overwhelming.
