I support my clients in processing their anxiety and emotions, navigating relationships, exploring their sexuality and gender identity, and untangling intergenerational family narratives and trauma.
Do you struggle with stress management, anxiety, mood swings, intergenerational and cultural trauma, setting boundaries or communicating with your loved ones? Imagine working with a therapist you feel can empathize with, consider, validate, and normalize your unique cultural experiences or spiritual values. I will validate and hold a safe space for your feelings and be a witness for you to be able to explore your trauma, triggers, needs, and the path toward healing. Let's make the unconscious conscious. I work best with individuals who identify as neurodivergent, Asian, Latina/o/x, spiritual, and LGBTQIA+ seeking guidance/support.

Wonderful Christian Counseling is a therapy clinic that focuses on the mental well-being of each client. Each session is tailored to the specific client needs. Compassion and empathy are the center focus of my therapy sessions. I realize that people need to be met where they are at and in order for them to process through whatever situation or issues they may be experiencing, one must feel connected in the therapeutic setting. It is my goal to build a welcoming environment where clients feel vulnerable and safe. It is my hope that clients feel the care, kindness, and sincerity I have for their mental well-being.

I use equine-assisted therapy model Eagala. The client chooses the pace and what to work on. Clients who have experienced trauma, anxieties, and other emotional related problems can find that the horses can relate because they are hyper vigilant and reflect back what they sense. As the counselor I allow for the process to work through at its own pace and support the strengths of the client as they emerge. I have several locations in Western WA, in order to ease access. At present I have Enumclaw, Maple Valley, Ravensdale, South Prairie, Monroe, Auburn, Rainier, and Olympia. I have a sliding scale not based just on income.

To everyone that knows you – you’ve got it all together. But to be honest, the unresolved pain of past trauma negatively affects your mind, body, and overall well-being. Years of unresolved issues leaves you feel tired, overwhelmed and exhausted. You’re not sure how long you can keep up the facade. Perhaps you have been living up to other people’s expectations in addition to your own, and the load feels heavy.

Currently accepting new clients. So many people today are walking around, suffering in silence, beset with doubt, self-loathing, and self-recriminations. Especially now, as so many are being told their country is against them, self-compassion and self-love are very important pieces in our armor against the onslaught of negativity. A piece many are missing. I'd like to help you find it. Come to a place where you are seen and heard for who you are, without having to explain or defend your identity, lifestyle, or sexuality. Come laugh, come cuss, come cry. We can do this.

"Pain is important: how we evade it, how we succumb to it, how we deal with it, how we transcend it" - Audre Lorde. I hope to build healing relationships with people who would like to create more connection, ease and freedom in their lives. I work relationally and through the body by building self awareness, and doing standing and seated embodiment practices.

Since my first entry level mental health job in 1998, I have been seeking to learn how to help people in the most effective, therapeutic way toward their goals for increased mental health. I completed my masters degree in Counseling Psychology in 2000 and have been a licensed counselor since 2004 working with adults in outpatient mental health care. I took a few years off to be a stay at home mom and have 17 years experience working as a therapist.

As people of color, we have not always had the opportunity to address the intricacies of our mental health. We need to remind ourselves that we deserve to have a voice and tend to the vulnerable parts of who we are and what we experience in our lives. I focus my work on the lived experiences of my clients as I aim to decolonize therapy with a justice-oriented and strengths-based approach. I work with individuals to develop positive tools and resources to help improve their relational and individual wellbeing.

There are times in our lives when we experience emotional distress which makes meeting our everyday responsibilities challenging or interferes with our happiness. Emotional distress may be due to a transition such as a job loss or even a new profession, the loss of a loved one or the birth of a newborn, a relationship breakup or the start of a new relationship, or it could be trauma you have experienced now manifesting itself as emotional distress in your life. There are times when we can handle the negative emotions we experience such as sadness, emptiness, loneliness, or anxiousness and other times we may need some help.

Moving through school age to young adulthood consists of a variety of transitions and changes that can be difficult to navigate, as if understanding emotions isn't hard enough. These transitions are crucial for developing a sense of self and understanding one's place in the world. As a clinician, I believe the client is the true expert of their own experience, while I am simply supporting and guiding them towards individualized goals.
