I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression with a trauma focused therapy certification. Rather than simply managing the symptoms, the therapy aims to solve core causes that are often carried for many years. Due to this, most of my clients frequently see significant improvement within 3 to 6 sessions. As a trauma informed counselor, I do not ask my clients to share the details and re-experience their wounds.
Instead, we build compassion and resilience to help you with "How it affected you", rather than sit in "What happened". With this approach, we will be able to bring long-term healing even to your deepest and most hurt parts, without you being overwhelmed or triggered during the session.
I work with adults and teens in a collaborative and targeted approach and use an approach based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) integrated with Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral modalities (CBT, DBT).
