My name is Viti Golomb, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Therapy works best as a collaborative, client focused, nurturing and supportive relationship. We will focus on healing and strengthening your relationship to yourself, which will lead to stronger, healthier personal relationships. I use cognitive behavioral therapy. We will examine thoughts that lead to pain and unproductive patterns of behavior, educate about how those thoughts cause feelings of sadness, anxiety, etc., restructure those thoughts and learned new coping skills. I also use solution focused therapy to work on future goals.
I work with adults, couples and families. My area of specialty are anxiety, trauma, depression and parenting. I work in a collaborative, client focused environment. I am a cheerleader for my clients and my goals is to always lift them up. First session is getting to know each other, going over client's history and setting therapeutic goals.
I find people's stories fascinating. each story is different and unique. I am in owe of client's strengths, perseverance, and triumphs despite adversity. On the first session we will discuss long term and short-term goals, and ways in which to measure progress.
