The process involves a gentle and honest assessment of a person’s clinical and family history. We will identify the history of coping mechanisms during stressful times and assess their effectiveness. We identify goals, objectives, and agreed-upon commitments. Homework might be assigned that will correlate with achieving those goals and objectives.
