Focus in traditional settings? Today's world is complex. Socializing is challenging, bullying is hurtful, and expressing oneself can be overwhelming. But there's hope! I can help your child build resilience, discover their inner strength, and navigate life's complexities with confidence through the safe realm of Minecraft. Minecraft's familiar world allows children to feel comfortable and increases focus.
During therapy on Minecraft, natural opportunities arise to discuss real-life challenges. Working together to gather resources can spark conversations about anxiety and coping. Building a shelter together can open doors to discuss navigating social situations or feeling isolated. Completing tasks and building friendships fosters self esteem and confidence.
Groups are 10 weeks, held on zoom (audio only) and a secure Minecraft server. Sessions are 55 minutes, 10 kids max per group. Groups divided by age and gender. Group Therapy for Neurodiverse Kids on Minecraft
Therapy in the realm of Minecraft empowers neurodiverse kids to build social skills, confidence, and emotional intelligence through collaborative play. Expert guidance helps kids overcome challenges, reduce anxiety, gain skills for ADHD, develop coping mechanisms, and foster connections while having fun. How It Works: Weekly Zoom Calls for group discussions with cameras off. Private Minecraft Server: Limited to 10 participants per session. Sessions are 55 minutes, $35, meets: 9/10-11/19 Tuesdays (boys). Wednesdays (girls). Groups divided by age: 8-10 (4:30pm E), 11-12 (5:30pm), and 13-16 (6:30pm). In network with UHC and Aetna.
