I believe that every person has the capacity to be happy. When I work with individuals and couples, I get to know each unique person and circumstance. My treatment approach considers the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of each person. The non-judgmental relationship of trust and acceptance creates an environment that is conducive to the self-discovery that is necessary for achieving and maintaining optimal mental health and happiness. Helping others is my life's purpose, and I am honored to join people on their quest for a happy life.
I work with individuals, couples and families to improve quality of life and relationships. Areas of specialty are parenting and stress management. I use traditional research-based treatment strategies as well as mindfulness, breath-work, meditation and Reiki to help clients overcome depression, anxiety, and stress, and manage difficult transitions.
I am a cancer survivor with the perspective that no one should wait to be happy. Our lives are too short. I believe there are many paths to happiness. It is a matter of discovering the unique path for everyone. Helping clients find their path is my life's work.
