I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults looking to better understand themselves, and be their best selves. I specialize in symptoms and behaviors related to anxiety, stress, and depression. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-centered therapy modalities to support clients in gaining insight to then identify their next steps and make process.
My style is a good fit for teens, young adults, and adults searching for a space to feel heard and understood while using humor in supporting clients. The stressors individuals present with can take the form of anxiety, depression, work/school stress, first-generation issues, history of trauma, and/or relationship issues.
In a first session, you can expect me to ask general questions to obtain information related to reasons for wanting therapy, and explore behaviors, feelings, and situations currently affecting your mood. I will be clarifying my understanding of your situation, and supporting you in making you feel comfortable while sharing and identifying your needs.
