I created Upswing Counseling Services because time and time again I hear people feel that they are invalided in health care settings. I want clients to understand that they will drive services and their treatment.
I enjoy working with clients helping them to learn more about their mental health needs, and seeing them get their “a-ha” moments. I enjoy working with teens, adults and seniors especially helping them with any life transitions, anxiousness/sadness and self-empowerment. Increased communication with couples is my favorite part of this work.
I want clients to know that they are in control of therapy services. I encourage clients to ask questions and set the pace for their treatment.
