Over the last 10 years, I have provided care in a variety of clinical settings to both adolescent and adult clients, giving me the experience to target and treat an array of mental health conditions across the lifespan and to deeply understand how one’s development affects different conditions and behaviors in adulthood. I actively listen to clients' unique life experiences, and I believe in these stories there are elements of strength. I believe and value clients’ life experiences and work together with each client to identify the problem, recognize its impact on their life, and create a different, more beneficial experience.
I use psychoanalytically informed approaches and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) modalities including CBT, trauma-focused CBT, brief strategic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, grief therapy, exposure therapy and response, and interpersonal psychodynamic therapy.
I believe that psychotherapy is a collaborative experience in which a strong therapeutic connection and a focus on clients’ strengths encourages greater self-awareness and personal growth. I work with adults from a holistic, person-centered perspective to address issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.
