Many of our problems can stem from our perceptions and distorted thinking. People are able to survive and conquer so much more then they believe is true. I have twenty years of experience as a therapist with a wide range of issues. My approach is more eclectic as I believe that different people require different approaches. However, my background and schooling focused on marriage and family therapy. Also, I use a lot from cognitive behavioral therapy which focuses on a lot of our faulty perceptions. We live in such a fast paced society that we often just need to simplify.
My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults. I have worked with people that have mental illnesses, anger management problems, trauma, family and relationship problems. My practice focuses on family-couples, depression, anxiety, trauma and ADHD. I am open to working with most people.
Since the pandemic, the majority of my clients prefer telehealth so I gave up my office and am only doing telehealth. I have 2 greyhounds and 2cats at my home so they pop in to say hello.
