My goal as a counselor is to provide a warm, comfortable, caring environment where individuals and families can clarify life problems, develop insight, learn and practice new skills, and feel empowered to overcome challenges and obtain/maintain overall emotional wellness and resiliency. I strive to empower clients to discover their own truth, inner strength, and potential for personal growth and success in all areas of life. Clients find that I provide a safe, accepting, healing environment for persons of all races, ethnicities, spiritual practices, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
I enjoy working with older adolescents, college students, and adults. Areas of specialization include recovery from domestic violence and sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, divorce/separation, self-esteem issues, and women's issues. I enjoy working with all races, belief systems, and the LGBTQ population.
I am happy to provide a 30-minute free consultation either in person or on the phone. My fees are based on a sliding scale and I'm happy to work with you on a plan that is affordable for you. My services are open to anyone, regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, gender identity or expression.
