Welcome! I work primarily with women and folks on a parenting journey. You may be a new parent who experienced birth trauma and have the baby you always wanted but don't know how to move forward from pregnancy/ birth experience. You may be experiencing infertility or pregnancy complications. I have a passion for working with women who are navigating significant life transitions. If you're looking for a therapist to just say "mmm," I may not be the fit for you. Our work together will focus on engaging in self-discovery, enhancing insight to bodily cues, and building skills to help you move forward and reconnect with yourself again.
I have 12 years of experience with children, youth, and adults. I have worked extensively with individuals and families in crisis. I have certifications in treating anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I hold advanced training in CBT, Somatic Therapy, and Perinatal Mental Health. My approach to therapy is holistic, strengths-based, and person-centered.
I always keep in mind your unique set of needs and comfort level so the therapeutic environment feels as safe as possible. I approach my practice energetically, with consistent focus on meeting you where you’re at and providing an open and welcoming therapeutic environment.
