My name is Veronica Togual, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pasadena, California. I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults specializing in anxiety, stress, and mood disorders, using a mix of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving, and Motivation Interviewing. My approach to treatment varies with each client’s individual needs. I work collaboratively with clients using a strength-based approach and person-centered approach to identify their needs and goals for therapy.
I incorporate CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, and Attachment Therapy elements to help clients gain insight and make progress toward their goals. I have experience working with adults specializing in mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, and helping people cope with stressors and life transitions.
Being a first-generation Latina, I have faced many challenges and lived experiences. This led to my journey of becoming a therapist to help people who may be experiencing similar life transitions. It's a privilege to hold space and be part of a person’s healing process.
