Do you ever ask yourself why? Why am i going through what I am going through? Why cant i just "get over" it or move past it? The clients that I commonly work with are clients that are ready for a change. They have either tried to change on their own, or they have realized that in order to have lasting change they need a good support system. Many clients that I work with deal with depression, anxiety, bipolar, personality disorders, substance use issues, relationship issues, and issues dealing with daily life.
I have been in the mental health field since 2005 and have worked with numerous clients that have wanted to see a drastic change in their lives. I have extensive experience working with men, women, and teenagers addressing some of the most common issues that can be faced. I utilize a therapeutic approach that incorporates CBT, DBT, and MI.
Most of the time, what we need most is for someone to objectively look at our current situation and assist us with identifying step by step actions that we can take to get from point A to point B. The essence of therapy is to help navigate through the barriers between those two points.
