Hi, my name is Veronica Gadbury, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I am a warm and compassionate therapist who is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for clients to be able to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. I wholeheartedly believe that first and foremost, the building of that therapeutic relationship is key to successful therapy. I am patient and committed to meeting clients exactly where they are at to respect their unique experiences. My approach is ultimately based off of and tailored specifically to the needs of the individual I am working with. I like to use client-centered and strength-based approaches, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and DBT.
I strive to make goal setting a collaborative experience with clients in order to establish a shared understanding and to instill motivation. I believe that clients are to be given the reigns of control when it comes to determining what direction to take therapy in to allow it to be the most meaningful and empowering experience for them.
