Worried about the future, brooding over the past? Having difficulty finding or maintaining an intimate relationship? Losing your grip on unhealthy habits and self-destructive tendencies? Psychotherapy could bring you hope and eventual resolution. I am a psychoanalytically trained psychotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience with individual adults, couples, children and adolescents.
I follow a relational/contemporary interpersonal approach, helping my clients take charge of their treatment and as well as of their lives. I supervise other therapists, and have several years of postgraduate teaching experience. I am also a published author, with papers appearing in prestigious psychoanalytic journals, such as Psychoanalytic Dialogues.
Originally from Europe, I have been living in and around New York City for nearly 40 years now. I have extensive personal as well as professional experience with immigration and acculturation. I also have expertise in the treatment of personal and intergenerational trauma.
