As a licensed professional counselor, I provide an open, non-judgmental and laid back approach to mental health counseling. I am a former collegiate athlete who transfers what I have learned in team settings to the counseling chair. I am passionate about working with older teens (16+) and young adults who are open to exploring the pathways to healing in a warm, optimistic way. While completing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I used to work as a case manager at a non-profit organization helping teens in the foster care system transition into independent living.
I have extensive clinical experience working with teens and adults in intensive outpatient care who have suffered from a wide variety of mental health struggles on both an individual and group scale. I pull from a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, Humanistic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
