My goal in therapy is to help you the client live a more fulfilling & healthy life. Whether it is anxiety, life circumstances, etc. We will work together to process where you are, where you want to be, and how can we get you there. We will explore different aspects of your life, both past and present. In the end, the goal is for you the client to be able to handle life's stressors and challenges and be able to live your life presently in a healthy way.
I often find myself using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and similar approaches for working with clients with anxiety and working through life's challenges. I also work with clients on more talk-focused therapy such as Person-Centered.
Therapy is something in which many people are hesitant about. I won't be a stoic blank slate. I will work with you in open nonjudgmental dialogue and help you process whatever it is. I won't give you answers to life, I'll help you find your answers though, to the best of my abilities. In therapy, the key ingredient is trust & understanding.
