Hi! My name is Vendela and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. My experience includes working in schools providing individual counseling and mentorships to youth and seeing clients in a private practice setting for individual psychotherapy. I have worked with teens and adults with various mental health issues including depression, generalized anxiety, panic disorders, and more. I meet each client where they're at and I typically work well with those who show up to each session with a willingness to be open, an ability to self-reflect, and a desire to work towards change.
I have always had a very driven and dedicated mindset, which comes in part from being a competitive athlete for 10+ years. In this chapter of my life, the drive and dedication I have developed can be applied to help individuals reach their therapeutic goals, whether that is dealing with life's stressors, managing mood disorders, or navigating relationships.
My mission is to help you get from where you are, to where you want to be. I help facilitate this change by using a holistic and collaborative approach.
