Have you been struggling with your identity? Have you suffered from traumatic experiences in your life? You're not alone, and you don't have to suffer in silence. Seeking therapy can feel daunting, but I'm glad you're here! During sessions, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), a valuable tool to assist with re-processing experiences that negatively affect one's sense of self by tapping into the brain's natural tendency to move towards healing and adaptive processes.
As a trans person myself, I strive to create room for the entire LGBTQ+ community to embrace our identities, challenge the status quo, and work toward collective liberation for all marginalized communities. My aim is not just to create representation, but to also invite healing from a place of knowing that trauma is caused by systems of oppression.
NOTE: For those located in Northern Virginia, I have current availability for in-person EMDR treatment. I accept telehealth clients for virtual therapy on case-by-case basis. Please email me for the most current info regarding my schedule.
