Pursuing mental health support is a courageous decision that has the potential to positively transform your life. Now more than ever, children & adults are faced with overwhelming challenges that impact how we function. Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in direct clinical practice with many individuals, families, & groups regarding issues of anxiety, mood, emotional & behavioral dysregulation, impulsivity, grief, socialization, family conflict, parenting, & school-based challenges. Although some struggles are universal, including the impact of the pandemic, the experience & process is different for everyone.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families, including early childhood mental & behavioral health. This work has led me to expand into maternal mental health, by offering increased, specialized support during the prenatal and postpartum period. This sets a vital foundation for parent/child relationships and improved family functioning.
In addition to telehealth services, I am currently seeing clients in person at my Levittown office. Telehealth has been a wonderful option that has allowed therapists to remain connected with clients and families in need, though it’s typically more effective to engage children in person.
