I work with both children and adults, with the aim of helping them discover greater peace, joy, and meaning in their lives. I strive to create an environment where each individual feels supported, understood, and valued, fostering a sense of empathy and trust. My approach centers on truly understanding each person’s unique beliefs, values, goals, and challenges. When working with children, I integrate talk, play, and art therapy to provide a safe space for expression, particularly when words may be difficult to find.
Supporting LGBTQ+ youth, especially transgender individuals, is a central focus of my practice. My goal is to empower my clients to feel affirmed in their identity, while also helping them cultivate resilience and acceptance.
My experience as a teacher and school counselor has equipped me to support kids in educational settings, including writing 504 plans and attending IEP meetings. I also hold a master's degree in education administration.
