I have over 12 years experience working with transition aged youth (12-25yo). I have previously worked with children, adolescents, and young adults who experienced anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, generational trauma and chronic trauma. I thrive in creating a safe and creative space for others to heal and grow.
My approach as a therapist focuses on helping young people and their caregivers to tell their story in all its beauty and complexity, build awareness of themselves and find their strengths. I believe in the importance of examining the ways that our culture and surroundings can oppress us and empowering young people.
My work experience and personal life has taught me that all individuals are at different paths in life and that all individuals deserve the support to reach their goals and have access to mental health care services to help equip the skills to handle the challenges that arise.
