Hi there! My name is Vaneh (vaw-neh), and I'm a child of immigrant parents and a first-generation college student. I am deeply committed to helping individuals work through issues related to identity conflicts, discrimination, and intergenerational trauma. I am particularly attuned to the unique challenges of growing up with multiple identities and the impact this can have on one's sense of self and functioning in the world. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel empowered to explore these issues and begin the process of meaningful change.
Together, we can work towards aligning your life with your core values and fostering a greater sense of authenticity, self-compassion, and resilience. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, and major life transitions (job loss, divorce, being new parents, new careers, etc.). I am also passionate about working with college students of any age.
