I am Valerie C. Sanders, native of Miami Florida and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, grounded in spiritual principles. As an ordained minster, I will meet you where you are to help you gain insight and greater self-awareness. I believe that you are the expert of your life and the creator of you narrative. Together, we will explore interventions that foster healing, informed by evidence-based theories such as ACT, Narrative Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Mindfulness and Psychotherapy.
As a member of the BIPOC community, I am sensitive to the concerns that often face people of color. Meeting you at your identified intersections, informs the beginning of our work together. Systemic therapy principles are guiding and I believe that we heal within the context of relationship and community.
